  • Care Home sector: Substantial refinancing of a large operators portfolio, resulting in better use of funds and substantial savings on the previous interest charges: Capital borrowed £2.5 million.
  • Independent School: Funding for expansion and renovation, plus a better financial arrangement with the new lender, resulting in better use of surplus funds, and a much better overdraft arrangement. Capital borrowed £1.2 million.

  • Start Up Company innovative Transport Concept: Assisted the company in preparation of the Business Plan, and the Financials necessary to obtain funding. Assistance will be ongoing and we expect this company to be a spectacular success. Funds raised £50K.
  • Care Home Purchase: Assisting a purchaser to realise his dream of owning and running his own care home. Amount raised £1 million.
  • Designer & Manufacturer of Mechanical handling equipment, needed funding to establish his Distribution network and a facility of £350,000 has been agreed enabling him to develop his business without the need to sell off any of the Equity.
  • Office Design and Shopfitting Company, in Cash Flow problems as the result of a Contractual dispute, was assisted in Adjudication and can look forward to receipt of £300,000.
  • Motor Parts manufacturer and distributor; Highly leveraged Loan of £1.5 million to fund the acquisition of another company in the same sector; low asset backing, but strong profit performance
  • Juice Jack: innovative integral Multi purpose device charger supported in grant application, and product is now scheduled to be sold via Tesco.
  • Tail Crate: Another innovative product assisted by Micro Grant through development stage and into production. These attachments eliminate the need for a Tow Bar and Trailer and fit easily onto a saloon car.
  • Best Pet Pharmacy; an internet business based in Scotland, received an offer of RSA  grant assistance to establish a new warehouse and distribution centre for veterinary produce, enabling it to maintain its major sales expansion.
  • Arena Flowers a start up company based in London was helped to obtain a six figure grant and it has recently been featured in the Daily Telegraph blog as a success story exporting flowers from London around the world!
  • LGI: Linear Guidance Industries, based in Wiltshire, have a range of products which enable the marking of safe routes through minefields, and they were assisted by a grant in the development of an intrinsically safe system of lighting for Petrochemical plants and other dangerous areas.
  • Burgess Beds: based in the centre of Manchester this long established company was struggling with the impracticalities of the old mill building it rented, due to the need to move materials to the top floor and then manage them down as the process went through its stages. With grant assistance they were able to relocate to a refurbished facory allowingt them to layout the work flow ergonomically and to achieve a substantial improvement in productivity.
